Michael- At first glance, this looks great! I'm sure there are deeper implications to weight carefully- not the least of which is how the vendors build & maintain such a "beast" :-), but it does seem to address the "multiple applications running in the same environment" issues (3rd-party vendor app + vendor app + customer app). One thing pops-up immediately that I think is quite reasonable to assume: no VPI-created handles (internal data) can be expected to be shared across applications of different compatibility levels ! It includes two possible implementations, one in green and one in blue. Never compiled, never checked for syntax errors, etc. This was the best I could do in this short time.
