Hi Bassam, A few more questions - 1. The vpiIdentifier iterator provides the names of the arguments. How do I query the type of the argument? 2. 36.46 for sequence declaration has a vpiArgument which is an iterator to the actual arguments of a sequence instance. Why doesn't the property declaration have the same? 3. In the 36.44 vpiDefLineNo is a "str". Shouldn't this be an "int". In the assertions, only concurrent assertions show it as an "int" Lisa ________________________________ From: Bassam Tabbara [mailto:Bassam.Tabbara@synopsys.com] Sent: Monday, October 15, 2007 2:36 PM To: Lisa Piper Cc: sv-ac@eda-stds.org Subject: RE: vpi Identifier for property and sequence declarations Hi Lisa, Indeed that's what it is -- if you feel this needs clarification please do file a mantis item with SV-CC to add said note. Thx. -Bassam. ________________________________ From: Lisa Piper [mailto:piper@cadence.com] Sent: Monday, October 15, 2007 9:28 AM To: Bassam Tabbara Cc: sv-ac@eda-stds.org Subject: vpi Identifier for property and sequence declarations Hi Bassam, I think the LRM needs a note that the vpiIdentifier iterator for property and sequence declarations is a list of the formal parameters (if any). This affects 36.46 and 36.44. If you agree then I will open a Mantis item and create the proposal.
