1. Reviewed Patent information

   - Chas reviewed the patent information which can be
     found at http://standards.ieee.org/board/pat/pat-slideset.ppt

2. Reviewed minutes for 01/30/2008

   Chuck/Steve. ACCEPTED

3. Liaisons

   - Chas reported that the P1800 committee agreed to give the SV-CC
until the end of March to finish. Chas was concerned that the
SV-AC issues may cause an additional delay.
   - No other meetings to report on.

4. Consent Agenda

After some discussion on what should be on the consent agenda, we
decided to move everything to new business.

4. New business

   - Declare Item 0587 a duplicate of Item 572
     Chuck/Bassam. PASSED (unanimous)

   - Declare Item 0588 a duplicate of Item 572
     Chuck/Bassam. PASSED (unanimous)

   - Declare Item 0589 a duplicate of Item 572
Chuck thinks that Bassam should look at this again.

   - Close Item 0559 as Not a Bug - clarification added as NOTE
Group started to lose interest. Request was made to have another
separate meeting on Data Read API. Chas to schedule a separate
     meeting after DVCon.

4. New business

   - Discussion of consent agenda
Jim wants a way of moving things forward in the meeting that are not
controversial. Chas to add approval of agenda into the agenda.
Chas to add expedited section to agenda just before new business.

   - Item 1599 The assertion API and VPI sections need changes as per mantis #805
     Bassam added xrefs
Abi noted that the two new callbacks are not in the include file in the
proposal. Abi asked to have a friendly amendment to add them.
Jim/Chuck. PASSED as amended. Bassam to implement.

   - SV-AC issues reported by John Havlicek
Abi thought that we were already overbooked.
Chas to tell John that we do not have time to get more involved at this point.
Chas thought it would be good if John came to the SV-CC meetings to discuss
these items. Abi agreed. Chas to ask him to join us.

   - Item 2005
Some members of the committee did not like the #0 syntax because it is misleading.
Several members had trouble understanding the entire issue that the proposal is
     trying to solve.
Chuck moves that we tell the SV-AC that we have no objections to this proposal as
far as the VPI portion is concerned.
JimV noted that the place to put the #define is in the wrong place. Should have
a "Replace" "with" context so it is easier to see.
     Chuck withdraws motion.
Chuck would moves that we ask the SV-AC to move the #define. JimV. ACCEPTED.
     Chas to tell SV-AC.

   - Item 2250
No definition of a checker array? Is in 36.10. Chas asked if a checker could be
in a package. Francoise thinks it can and this is a problem. JimV asked if they
should be in programs? Francoise thinks they should not be. Should not be in a
sequential context. Francoise will bring up at the Champions meeting.
