Hi, Jim.

I also have two versions. Let's see what version you have.

Go to page 1154. Both versions that I have have a couple of lines at the top of the page and then a section heading Normalized and linearized ranges.
The numbering of that heading in one version is incorrectly H.1.1 and in the other it is correctly H.7.5.

Shalom

Shalom, regarding the links of p. 1149, what section is that in? I don't see any issue in my copy downloaded from IEEE in June. However, we have found that although all of us on the SV-CC thought we had the latest version, some of the earlier versions have mistakes in them that seem subsequently to have been corrected. So let me know the section number, and I'll check it out on my own copy.

Thanks,
Jim Vellenga

Yes. Regarding the asterisks, probably what happened is that in fixing the Table to match IEEE formatting, the editor thought that they were pointing to the footnote, and therefore were changed to 'a' together with the footnote label.

I also found the following problems, at least in my version of the PDF file:

On page 873, in 35.6.1.1, the sentence "A solitary, unsized, packed dimension assumes the linearized, normalized range of the actual's
packed dimensions (see H.1.2)," should reference probably H.7.6. The hyperlink works properly, but the text was not changed. This is a result of a section numbering problem we had in Annex H.

Also, on page 1149, some of the hyperlinks are physically displaced left or upward from the text they are attached to.

Regards,
Shalom

Michael, yes, table H-1 is there, but doesn't it have a couple of mistakes? I think the "a"
superscripts in the C types for chandle and string should instead be asterisks: "void *"
and "const char *". And the bolding for "const char *" is inconsistent, since both
"const" and "char" are keywords. Nicht wahr?
