No I haven't. I was not aware you could use named connections with tasks & functions, assuming that is what you mean by "named argument binding" (aren't these arguments rather than ports ?).
In any case, I know of no "instance array" counterpart for task and function calls. [ And this is not a suggestion for another committee to take this up :-) ]

Chuck,
I forgot to bring this up at the meeting. Have you considered using this modeling of dotstar and dotnamed
connections for other places in SV where we can use and named connections.
For example function and task calls allow a mixture of positional and named argument binding
(positional arguments have to be given first).
