Welcome to the XtremeDSP Developer's Kit. Included on the CDs are evaluation copies of world class EDA tools and supporting technical documentation and links - everything you need to start designing, simulating and implementing a high performance DSP system.

Installing the tools are 5 easy steps. So get ready to push your DSP designs to the Xtreme!

The Xilinx ISE Foundation Evaluation Kit is the 2nd CD in the Xilinx DSP Developers Kit.



 

The MathWorks Product Evaluation CD which includes MATLAB®, Simulink®, and the supporting Toolboxes and Blocksets, is the 3rd CD in the Xilinx DSP Developers Kit.

Prior to installing System Generator for DSP, please install the following updates:

ISE 4.1i Software Updates (Service Pack)
IP Updates (Release 1)

Then install Xilinx System Generator for DSP.

These are all on the XtremeDSP CD.

 

The Mentor - FPGA Advantage and the Synplicity - Synplify Synthesis tools are on the XtremeDSP CD, which is the 1st CD in the Xilinx DSP Developers Kit. (Installing 3rd party synthesis tools is optional).

Select the MXE or other ModelSim simulators from on the Xilinx ISE Foundation Evaluation Kit (found in Step1)

OR

Select The Mentor - FPGA Advantage which includes the Model Technology ModelSim HDL Simulation tools.(This is optional)
