For system timing we've doubled the number of DLLs to eight, we've also increased the amount of True Dual-Port™ block RAM to 640 Kbits, and added three differential I/O standards including LVDS, Bus LVDS and LVPECL for a total of 20 supported standards. In parallel with the introduction of Virtex-E, Xilinx has released Alliance v2.1i™ Series Software. Offering compile times over twice as fast as its predecessor, v2.1i ensures total design control and flexibility. Couple this with the most complete suite of pre-verified cores in the programmable business, and it's no wonder why Virtex has taken the industry by storm.
