Yatin and all others,
We have had a very lively discussion lots of technical
issues over the period of last one week or so. Some of
the issues on DirectC that we may want to discuss in
the meeting tomorrow will be:
o Should the Verilog functions/tasks called from
DirectC be Zero-time or should we allow non-zero-time ?
I think I heard John Stickley and me arguing in
favor of zero-time Verilog task/function and Kevin (?) and
Doug, Stuart Swan in favor of more generalized approach.
o Should we take a SystemC based approach for concurrency
modeling in place of Cmodule ? (Proposed by Stuart Swan).
o John's proposal for HDL to C and C to HDL calls.
Regards,
- Swapnajit.
