This vote was premature, and I raised the issue that some people were
already on vacation when you set the deadline. There would have been
no harm in leaving it until after we considered Andrezej's proposal
in January.
While you may be chair of this committee, I don't remember there being
any election process. So don't assume you have majority support.
I will continue working on the proposal until I have cleared up all the
technical issues with it that get raised.
