Hi all,
I'd like to propose a tiny modification for item #50: change the strings
that specify P1800 or deprecated 3.1a mode from, correspondingly,
"DPI"/"DPI-3.1a" to "C"/"DPI".
Motivation:
If "DPI-3.1a" denotes the deprecated 3.1a mode then the existing 3.1a DPI
code that already contains 'import "DPI"' will not be backward compatible,
because all declarations would require "DPI" to be replaced with "DPI-3.1a".
That's why I propose to keep "DPI" for the original DPI and use another
string for P1800. In our internal discussion I was proposing "P1800".
It was Joao who came up with "C". Well, I liked it. 'C' may stand for an
interface to C or for Canonical Representation based interface, whatever.
Thanks,
Andrzej
