Hi All, I neglected to mention this at today's meeting. Sorry about that. Since we did not vote on anything, I guess it is not an issue. -Chas -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Voting Rights in the Committees Date: Fri, 01 Apr 2005 13:32:18 -0800 From: Karen Pieper <Karen.Pieper@synopsys.com> To: srouji@us.ibm.com, <Karen.Pieper@synopsys.com>, <matthew.r.maidment@intel.com>, Brad.Pierce@synopsys.com, Mehdi.Mohtashemi@synopsys.com, <Neil.Korpusik@sun.com>, chas, <Ghassan.Khoory@synopsys.com>, <fhaque@cisco.com>, <Arif.Samad@synopsys.com> Hi, all, I have just traded mail with Johny asking about voting rights for the current ballot resolution process in the committees. Johny has determined that we are now acting as a Ballot Resolution Committee, and not as the technical committees. As a result, all of the voting priviledges need to be reset. I.e. anyone who shows up for the first 3 meetings can vote. After than, one needs to attend 2 consecutive meetings to gain voting rights, and 2 of the preceding 3 to retain them. I hope this clarification helps, Karen -- Charles Dawson Senior Engineering Manager NC-Verilog Team Cadence Design Systems, Inc. 270 Billerica Road Chelmsford, MA 01824 (978) 262 - 6273 chas@cadence.comReceived on Tue Apr 5 14:17:52 2005
