1.  Reviewed Patent information.

   - Chas reviewed the patent information.


2.  Reviewed minutes of the 10/25/2006 Meeting.

   - Francoise/JimV.  ACCEPTED (unanimous)


3.  Liaisons

   - SV-EC had a face to face to discuss the clocking blocks and
     programs.  We will likely have to do some modeling changes.
     Programs, clocking blocks, and event scheduling
     algorithm - want a new region to allow non-blocking
     assignments to program variables.

     Francoise agreed to supply the minutes:

4.  New business

   - Discuss draft of merged data model.

     Chas commented on the changes since the prior draft.
     Jim Vellenga had reviewed the draft and found a bunch of
     mistakes in the notes, and a few mistakes in the diagrams
     themselves.  The new version looks pretty good.

   - Abi and Michael's proposals for the compatibility issues

     The implementation cannot use the actual include files, it
     will have to diverge slightly in that regard.

     Michael's proposal doesn't help with things that are already
     compiled.

     Third party vendor can provide version specific compiled
     libraries.


5.  Reviewed of items with proposals.

   - None.

6.  Reviewed SV-CC items with proposals (Straw poll only).

   - None.


7.  Old Business

   - Chuck to write a document that describes the possible solutions for the
     compatibility issues, and they're pros and cons.

     The entire committee has been discussing this, and so we're not sure that
     this is an appropriate that this is on Chuck's plate.

   - Francoise and Bassam to continue work on assignment patterns.

   - Everyone to review Chas' merged diagrams document.

     JimV has done has done that, new version sent out.

   - JimV to champion the slices problem.
   - Chuck to champion the vpiParent problem.
   - Chuck to consider adding two properties for dimension processing.

     Chuck has a proposal to be sent out.

   - Francoise to champion adding support for typed parameters to the
     typespec diagrams.
   - Abi to champion adding support for parameterized classes.
   - Abi/JimV to champion improving the ability to compare objects.

     JimV has been working on this, but hasn't sent anything out.

   - Steve Dovich to determine best way to deal with issues between versions
     of the IEEE specs.

     Chas to ask Steve about this.


JimV/Abi.  Meeting ended at 1:02pm.

   - Ongoing review of Michael and Abi's compatibility proposal.
