I have just uploaded a replacement proposal (attached here also FYC) for "version 2" of this item to address the following:

1) Deprecation issue w. vpiInterfaceDecl (see new section on p. 21 "C.4.3 VPI definitions"- I included other known deprecated items here too);

2) Shalom's sv_vpi_user.h comment correction re. vpiValid (bottom of p. 22);

Please also note my comments in the Mantis item itself intended to address the compatibility concerns of Brad (p1800), Bassam, & Michael.
