Secure Flash Microcontrollers/MCS51 based

The AT89SC series is a low-power, high performance; secure 8-bit microcontroller based on the industry-standard 8051 architecture.

The AT89SC features Flash program memory, EEPROM data memory and an ISO7816 external interface. Flash program memory eliminates the cost of mask ROM and enables code to be loaded at the final stage of IC production. It reduces to zero the delay in introducing software upgrades.

Security features include voltage/frequency control, secure layout, bus scrambling, etc.

Application development tools for the AT89SC series include the Atmel Development Kit for Secure Microcontrollers based on the KeilTM development chain. This is a user-friendly tool that allows easy development, simulation and emulation of the code for the AT89SC.
