1.  Reviewed Patent information

   - Chas reviewed the patent information which can be
     found at http://standards.ieee.org/board/pat/pat-slideset.ppt


2.  Approval of agenda

   - John/Chuck.  ACCEPTED


3.  Reviewed minutes for 04/09/2008
   Chuck/Bassam.  ACCEPTED (John abstained)


4.  Liaisons

   - SV-SC meeting has been meeting every week.  They have made some progress.
     There will be a face to face 5/13-5/14.
   - Neil asked us to look at some Mantis items from the Champions.
   - Chas reported that the P1800 committee has given us permission to work on
     the Jeita issue, Mantis item 1835.
   - No other meetings to report on.

7.  New business

   - Review of Items with Champions feedback
     - Item 2226
       JimV asked if 37.34.1 should say "members of" in the second sentence
       under cbValueChange.  John said that that would complicate things a lot
       and should be considered as a future task.  JimV agreed.

       JimV was also concerned about the language in the description of cbEndOfObject.
       JimV was concerned that we were not including members.  John said that was not
       the intent and was trying to not repeat the semantics.  John will investigate
       further.  Owes an answer to cbReclaimObj.

       36.2.2 should say cbValueChange in note 3, not all callbacks.  JimV questioned
       whether note 3 should be in this section at all then.  John and JimV agreed that
       we should probably just remove the entire note 3.

     - Item 2143
       We reviewed that JimV did the right thing and removed the extra proposal.

     - Item 2094
       JimV has not fixed this yet.  Will do so for the next meeting.

     - Item 2054
       Chas to fix up proposal for next meeting, including Shalom's feedback.

   - Review tasks for Draft 5

     JimV suggested that we add the framemaker files into Mantis.  This would be good
     because then we would have a record of it.  Please look at all Items which are in
     the completed state.  Move to Feedback if there is an issue with the way the
     editor implemented the proposal.  Otherwise move it to Closed.

   - Shalom's questions on Draft 5
       Shalom asked "36.2: "Objects of type net have properties vpiName, vpiVector, and
       vpiSize". Why is vpiFullName not mentioned?"
      Is a nit.  Abi will file a new Mantis item to address it in the future.

   - Shalom's question on vpiAutomatics
     Should have a comment on when we added this one.  JimV should look into it.

   - Chuck asked if we need to change the control for Compatibility from "2008" to "2009".
     Chas will take an action to ask P1800 how we should deal with this.

10.  Old Business

   - Chuck to add a Mantis Item for dealing with forced nets when you put
     a value to them in VPI.
     Done.

11.  Action items

   - Chas to double check in draft 5 that Item 0417 was implemented properly
   - Chas to enter Mantis Items for Krzysztof Konopko's questions
   - JimV to file a Mantis Item to correct wording of note 4 and note 2
     in section 36.62 (Draft 4)
   - Chas to update Item 2054 based on Champions and Shalom's feedback
   - John to update Item 2226 based on Champions and JimV's feedback
   - Abi to file new Mantis Item for Shalom's issue in 36.2
   - JimV to provide feedback to the editor on the vpiAutomatics addition to vpi_user.h
   - Chas to ask the P1800 committee to deal with the ballot moving to 2009.
